Not many Engineering students know that Prof. Wagish Shukla, who teaches Mathematics at IIT Delhi is also an Indologist, a Sanskrit and Persian scholar par excellence, a devoted Ghalib and Bedil researcher and a Hindi novelist! For years, he has been writing a novel called Atha Yagyavalkyopakhyan. I am happy to share with you that Prof. Wagish Shukla has provided excerpts from latest developments in this project for Pratilipi, a bilingual literary magazine that I edit.
